Maxi RodriguezOne of the best goals ever, scored in the World Cup, not only was it a superb finish, but the circumstances. It was 1-1 extra time and the game was looking to go into penalties. The winner to go through to the Quarter Finals of Germany.

The referees have without doubt been shocking, but where is the common sense, a piece of metal could do a better job. I really think that next World Cup we need to go to technology, because as witnessed I get the feeling that this referee was under the books of FIFA.

Republic of TogoAfter a poor showing in the African Nations Cup, the coach that took Togo to the World Cup was sacked.
Interesting times ahead but we look back at how Togo knocked out African participant Senegal, They just scraped through against Congo in the closing stages of the match.
Commmentary by International Yao Aziawonou as he reflects on how Togo made it this far and on star play Emmanuel Adebayor who's been described as skilled, quick and packing an expensive shot.

South KoreaOne of the biggest teams in Asia, Korean football is still in a buzz after their success in 2002.
The Koreans believe that because they were considered the strongest in Asia, the other teams tried extra hard to defeat them, which in turn left for a difficult qualifying route.
Qualifying Action against Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan on display, and not to mention the Dutch being sacked even though Korea qualified. He was swiftly replaced by another Dutchman Dick Advocaat.
Can this Korean team emulate Japan/Korea 2002, we sha'll see.
